Pete A Cool idea and decent special effects. But the writing is so bad. The acting is bad. The dialog is bad. The characters are fun, and the effects are amazing for what I assume is a smaller budget. The titular creature, like Kong, is sympathetic and whose violence and destruction are a byproduct of its curiosity and will to just be left alone. I didn't feel good with how they treated this man!
