What to do if Ranni is not in her tower? ›

Concerning Ranni, assuming she really isn't there sitting at the top of her tower, try using a grace to reset the area and check again. It's very rarely happened, but a few times an NPC just...wasn't somewhere they usually are then the grace reset them back to normal.

To speak to Ranni, you'll have to complete Caria Manor in northern Liurnia. Upon defeating Royal Knight Loretta, you will gain access to the Three Sisters area containing three distinct towers. Head towards the westernmost one to reveal that it is called Ranni's Rise. Here is where you'll find her.

Defeat the Silver Tear Giant and pick up the Fingerslayer Blade in a chest beneath this statue. Ranni's Rise in Elden Ring is one of the three towers in the Three Sisters area. It's a location that can be accessed after defeating Royal Knight Loretta. The easiest way to reach it is by exploring the Caria Manor north of Liurnia of the Lakes.

I'm guessing you've already moved past this, but in case anyone else runs into the same thing: If Blaidd is standing around in Redmane Castle waiting for the festival to start, Ranni won't appear in her tower. You'll need to beat Radahn to get her to show up.
