All Yggdrasil's Dew Locations - God of War Ragnarok Guide - IGN (2024)

There are eleven Yggdrasil's Dews to collect in God of War Ragnarok. Returning from the 2018 game, these blue drops of dew are found on branches hanging over bodies of water. When collecting droplets, one of your stats - either Runic, Cooldown, Defense, or Strength - will be permanently increased by two. This collectibles guide details where all 11 Yggdrasil's Dews can be found across the Nine Realms.

In New Game Plus, Yggdrasil's Dew can also be found in Nornir Chests you've looted in a previous playthrough. All the Dew locations listed below will also be reset, letting you collect them again!

All Svartalfheim Yggdrasil's Dews

There are four Yggdrasil's Dews to be found across the Svartalfheim realm.

Aurvangar Wetlands - Yggdrasil’s Dew 1

• Boost: +2 Runic

After pass through the giant wooden wheel you turned, you’ll have to slip under a gap under a bridge. After you’ve done this, follow the left-hand wall to find this Yggdrasil’s Dew, which increases your core Runic stat.

Bay of Bounty - Yggdrasil’s Dew 1

• Boosts: +2 Cooldown

In the South part of the Bay of Bounty’s Southern half. It’ll be directly ahead if you’ve sailed North from Nidavellir and through the tunnel.

Bay of Bounty - Yggdrasil’s Dew 2

• Boost: +2 Defense

Located in the Northern half of the Bay of Bounty. You can find it at the South-Eastern most point; it’ll be obscured by a large rock sticking out of the water.

Bay of Bounty - Yggdrasil’s Dew 3

• Boost: +2 Strength

This Yggdrasil’s Dew is found in the waters near Durlin’s house, West of Nidavellir. It’ll be fairly easy to spot along the right-hand edge of the water as you sail West past Durlin’s house.

On the beach, just south of this tree, you’ll discover a red Coffin that contains +2 Forged Iron and some Hacksilver.

Bay of Bounty - Yggdrasil’s Dew 4

• Prerequisite: Complete The Reckoning main quest
• Boost: +2 Runic

This Yggdrasil’s Dew is on the South side of Alberich Island, however it cannot be accessed until you complete The Reckoning quest and gain the ability to use Runic Slates.

Once you’ve done that, return to Svartalfheim and park the boat at the dock South-East of Alberich Island. Climb up the gold chain, then use the Runic Slate nearby to lower the fence blocking the way to the Yggdrasil’s Dew on Alberich Island.

Slide back down the gold chain, hop in the boat, then row out and collect the Dew!

All Vanaheim Yggdrasil's Dew

There are six Yggdrasil's Dews to be found across the Svartalfheim realm.

River Delta - Yggdrasil’s Dew 1

• Boosts: +2 Vitality

This Yggdrasil’s Dew is found close to the Northern-most Mystic Gateway in The River Delta, near Freyr’s Camp. Hop onto the boat and sail left: the Dew will be straight ahead of you.

River Delta - Yggdrasil’s Dew 2

• Boosts: +2 Luck

This Yggdrasil’s Dew is found in the South-West bend of The River Delta. From Pilgrim’s Landing and the giant tree you can row through, head West and take the bend going South. You’ll see the dew up ahead on the left-hand side of the river.

• Prerequisite: Progress the Creatures of Prophecy main quest
• Boosts: +2 Cooldown

This Yggdrasil's Dew can be spotted North of the Mystic Gateway assigned to Freyr's Camp, however it'll be blocked by a wooden barricade for most of the game. This barricade remains up until you progress the Creatures of Prophecy main quest and return to Freyr's Camp mid-way through.

Once you've done this, the story will have you row up the river and take you straight past the Yggdrasil's Dew, making it a very difficult Dew to miss indeed!

The Jungle - Yggdrasil's Dew 1

• Prerequisite: Complete the Return of the River Favor
• Boosts: +2 Defense

This Yggdrasil Seed is, like all others, above a river, but in the case of The Jungle, that means you must complete the Return of the River Favor first.

Once you’ve done this, hop into a boat and sail to the South-East corner of the area. You’ll find the Yggdrasil Seed hiding behind a stone pillar, behind the ruins where you fight the Ogre and the local dragon, The Corpse Eater.

The Plains - Yggdrasil’s Dew 1

• Prerequisite: Complete the Return of the River Favor
• Boost: +2 Strength

The lone Yggdrasil’s Dew in The Plains is at the Northern-most point of the river that divides the East and West halves of the region. If you have a canyon instead, you’ll need to complete the Return of the River Favor in The Jungle region to the South. This turns the canyons into rivers, letting you do the dew.

The Sinkholes - Yggdrasil’s Dew 1

• Prerequisite: Complete the Return of the River Favor
• Boost: +2 Vitality

Like most others, this Yggdrasil’s Dew is found above a river. However, until you complete the Return of the River Favor in The Jungle, there won’t be any!

Once you’ve got the river in place, you’ll find the dew by going to the Mystic Gateway for The Sinkholes Entrance, then rowing South-West: you’ll go around a bend and find the dew on the left-hand wall as you approach the gate.
