However, when Queen Barb announces her world tour, with plans to unite every Troll under rock music, Poppy and her friends learn that their tribe is actually one of six- pop, country, rock, techno, classical and funk. Poppy and Branch then set off to convince Barb to unite all music instead of destroying it in Trolls World Tour.

Funk music legend George Clinton, known for Parliament-Funkadelic, is considered one of the most important and influential figures in the genre's history. Fittingly for Clinton,his King Quincy is the ruler of the Funk Trolls alongside Queen Essence.
Mary J. Blige as Queen Essence
Mary J. Blige is anR&B superstar, with hit singles including "Be Without You" and "Not Gon' Cry". In Trolls World Tour, Blige plays Queen Essencewho, alongside King Quincy, leads the Funk Trolls tribe in Trolls World Tour.
